Items will only be posted after payment is processed in full - this includes the time it takes for a cheque or money order to clear if you pay by cheque or money order. Postage, Packing and Delivery Cross Stitch Stuff Limited will aim to get your items posted on the same day if you order before 12:00pm and within three working days at the latest. If there are any delays (for instance in the case of a back order), then you will be emailed as soon as possible. All items will be suitably packaged and marked appropriately. Proof of posting will be scanned and emailed through upon request, and in the case of Recorded Delivery within the UK you will get the tracking number as part of the standard email that will be sent when the item is shipped. Postage costs are calculated on the combined weight of the items you have ordered and include packing costs. You can choose the postage method from the options available to you given the destination country that you pick as part of your account. Back Orders While we endeavour to always have stock for every item listed in the shop, there is the possiblity that we will be sold out and still waiting for our next shipment to come in. We endevaour to have current stock levels available in the shop at all times. If any item you have ordered is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. If you have already paid via PayPal we can refund that payment if you do not wish to wait. 30-day returns guarantee Our 30-day returns guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact) and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item. Please note: we can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty. Due to the nature of some of the items sold by Cross Stitch Stuff Limited, we cannot accept returns if they have been opened and/or unsealed if the items are of a nature that they can be duplicated by a photocopier or other such duplication device. This is to protect copyright on the items and includes, but is not limited to, Charts. Privacy All visitors to Cross Stitch Stuff Limited are promised that Cross Stitch Stuff Limited will always respect your right to privacy. However, we understand that the internet is not a secure medium and therefore we have implemented security measures to, where possible, protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information placed under our control. All data gathered as a result of your visit will be treated as confidential and will not be divulged to a third party without your consent, unless we are required to divulge it by law. If your name is on our database and you request that we remove or alter it, we will do so within 72 hours of receiving your request or within 72 hours of finalising any open transactions with you. To request removal from our database or alteration to your existing entry, please do so via any of the methods detailed on the Contact Us page. All orders placed online will be confirmed by email. To place an order, enter a competition or take part in an online survey, you may be required to supply contact and personal information. Your Statutory Rights Cooling-off Period At Cross Stitch Stuff Limited we want you to be happy every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items. That's why under our 30-day returns guarantee, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received the item subject to the terms and conditions listed above. By law, customers in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered, unless the item in question has been opened and/or unsealed and can be duplicated via a Photocopier or other duplication device. To cancel your purchase within the seven-working-day cooling-off period, please fill out the delivery slip that accompanies your items giving the reason for the return as 'contract cancellation'. Please package the relevant item(s) securely and send it to us with the delivery slip so that we receive it within seven working days of the day after the date that the item was delivered to you. Please note that we cannot accept returns if you deliver them to us by hand. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service if the value of the return is more than £50.00 GBP. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective. If we do not receive the item back from you with the delivery slip, we may arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost. As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of this order (either before it is shipped or when it is returned, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item together with the item's normal postage charge up to and including the value we charged you. If you choose to return an item using a higher cost shipping method, we will only refund the portion that relates to the amount we charged you when shipping it.
